2022 Muster Summary

The 2022 Anstruther Muster was held from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June, again as part of that weekend's Anstruther Harbour Festival, which had 3 days of market stalls, childrens entertainers and live music and dance including headline bands Skipinnish and King Creosote on the big trailer stage on the middle pier.

About 20 visiting boats came to the Muster from as far as Dunbar and Boness and 18 local and visiting boats took part in the Muster's East Neuk Flotilla from Anstruther t-o St Monans and back on the Saturday afternoon. Muster pennants were awarded to visiting boats and Flotilla participants, and to Anstruther boats with good bunting displays.

 

The following Muster trophies were presented by Walker Murray, new owner of Anstruther Fish Bar and main sponsor of the Muster, at the reception in the Festival marquee :

  • Furthest Travelled Boat - 'Dignity' from Boness, skipper Dougie Horne

  • Best Dressed Boat - .Emma Lisa' from Dysart, skipper George Peggie

  • Smallest Boat - 'Beechnut' from Pittenweem, skipper David Stutchfield

  • Oldest Boat - 'White Wing' from Anstruther, skipper Bob Flann

  • Classic Boat of the Year - 'Caperdonich' from Anstruther, skipper Bill Kennaway
