BEST OF THE FEST - Photo Competition 2026

Capture the spirit of the festival with a chance to win a £50 cash prize!​

 

Anyone with a camera or mobile can take part by sending us an image they think others might enjoy. The competition is open to all, from budding photographers and aspiring influencers to accomplished professionals.

What you need to know...

1. FREE to enter

2. No limit to the number of entries

3. Cash prize for the winning photo that best sums up the spirit of the festival as judged by the festival committee and local filmmaker Bill Bruce (who captured imagery for the festival over the last six years).

4. All approved images will appear in our BEST OF THE FEST online gallery (on this page) after the festival.

5. Photos must be taken at the 2026 Festival and be your own work

6. By entering you’re confirming that we can use your photos on our social media, website and future Anstruther Harbour Festival publicity materials.

7. The closing date for entries is 5pm on 2nd September 2026.

​Send your photo by email to contact@anstrutherharbourfestival.org including the following details:

• ​Your name

• The name of anyone featured prominently in the image.

• Confirmation that you’ve gained permission from prominent individuals and/or the parents/guardians of any under 16yr olds for the reproduction of their image in the festival's publicity materials.
